Midterm grades are for informational and advising purposes to ensure students receive early feedback on course performance. They do not impact academic standing, grade point average, or official transcripts.

• Midterm grades will be submitted by instructors at the midpoint of each course. For example, this would be the 8th week for full-semester (16 week) classes and the 4th week for 8 week classes.
• Not all instructors will submit midterm grades for all courses. Students should refer to course syllabi or ask the instructors whether or not to expect a midterm grade.
• Students whose grades are below their personal expectations or below their academic or financial aid requirements should meet with instructors and advisors about steps for improving for the rest of the term.
