The event was a successful first entry in a planned series of outreach events between the University and various Chicago community partners.

The grant funds will contribute to accelerated degree pathways, a new Graduate Resource Center and expanded internship opportunities for Hispanic students.

�鶹��ý will host several events throughout campus to celebrate Latino and Hispanic culture in the United States as well as confront challenges these communities face.

This year’s conference will be “Immigration and the American Dream,” with discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities faced by those seeking a better life in the United States both in the past and present.

Ayala-Bermejo will speak to her work to address the migrant crisis in the city, highlighting the idea that every single one of us can make a difference.

This Disabilities Pride Month, �鶹��ý is highlighting the achievements of its students, faculty and staff from around the University.
